Why is time flying so quickly?
Again this is not particularly granny annex related [well indirectly it is] but does anyone out there or is it just me seem to think that time at the moment is going much faster than usual!!
I get up early around 6am do some work, have breakfast with the kids, read some of the paper and start schooling around 9am.
With a break in-between, we take about 2 hours on this, have some toast or a crumpet mid way, sit in the garden have a coffee, talk or play with the kids and oh my god its lunchtime!!!
Start again after lunch another couple of hours of teaching, well in a loose sense, a bit of shouting and bribing thrown in to get them to complete their work, all pleasant but….
then its around 3pm, [going home from school time normally for them] I think about making some tea, what to do, have do a bit of prep, have 1/2 an hour in the garden maybe with a beer, wait for my wife to come home from work, have family tea and then its 6 or 7 oclock..again!
Watch tv with the kids or sit in the garden a bit and its bedtime again, where has that precious day gone to, I have no idea, I really think time is going about twice as fast as usual during this lockdown thing.
Love the new routine, with the children, teaching etc but just wish time would slow down bit……..anyone agree?
