Creating an annex or extended living space – checklist
What I am currently preparing is a project/work checklist for anyone considering creating an annex or extended living area
What I am going to try to do is condense 3 years worth of work into a detailed list to help you undertake your project.
You will be able to use it as a guide where ever you are, whether your just starting, part the way through or looking for tips and advice once the project is complete.
Each subject will be listed as a main heading from initial thoughts, the sorts of questions you may be getting in your head about the job, through to building and on to life in the new buildings once completed.
Under each heading will be bullet points with explanations for example, one subject will covers drawings and then lists all possibilities that you may need or come across:
Sketch, plan, elevations, detailed drawings, before and after plans, 3d views, setting out drawing, building regulation drawing, planning drawing, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, bathroom, external layout drawing.
